We brought our own tree to decorate! It was a disney tree. the girls had fun with it! Our view from our room. Looked cool at night and we watched the electrical parade from here. Splash Mountain! This was the best first christmas as a family ever! We had so much fun and I enjoed our familt time together so much. Jeff was such a trooper he went on ever single ride with Kenzi even all the rollercoasters which I always go on, but didn't this year due to being prego. He even took Tyla on all the rides she insisted on going on over and over again! Tyla loved soarin over California (we went on it 5 times!!), tea cups, monster inc, and many more. Kenzi loved all the big rides like Hollywood Tower of Terror, Splash mountain and space mountain. I just loved watching the girls have fun together. My parents and my brother Bryan and his family came for the last couple days we were there. Tyla and Kenzi had tons of fun with their cousin Breckyn!
Today was the Treible Christmas party. The kids always like this because Santa comes every year and there is tons of yummy food! MacKenzie told Santa she doesn't really want anything this year!! That was too funny! Good thing Kenzie because Disneyland is your Christmas present this year!
MacKenzie and Tyla did so good at their dance recital this past Saturday. Kenzi had THREE performances and did great in all of them! This was Tyla's very first recital and I had major anxiety attacks about her being on stage and what would happen and I honestly couldn't ask for any better performance from her. She probably did only half her dance and the rest of the time she just stood their, but I am just so thankful she didn't cry or run off stage. This might not seem like a big deal to some, but for us we couldn't have been more proud of Tyla! Tyla wouldn't let me put her reindeer outfit on or do her hair so I brought her there just minutes before the recital started and thankfully I got it on her(even though she fought me the whole time)and I was lucky enough to put her hair in a quick ponytail.
I am super happy with the way our house turned out. Good job babe! We still have alot of fixin up to do with our home, but one thing at a time. I am having fun with it.
Christmas is just around the corner and we still have so much stuff we want to do before then such as Zoo Lights and Temple Lights. The girls had so much fun decorating their gingerbread house and it was so fun to watch the girls get so into it. It seems like each year the girls get older and really enjoy, understand and appreciate the holidays. It was a special moment for us to see Tyla want to participate and have fun and like always Kenzi was a great helper to her. I love these moments at home that we have to spend together as a family, hang out in our PJ'S and not go anywhere. Yes Jeff and I did compromise and have the ASU & U of A game on while decorating. Jeff is really happy about the score so far...
There are moments like this that let you forget about all the "bad days" like coloring all over the dresser drawer!Tyla's new phase right now is watching the Wizard of Oz. She is obsessed!! She wants to watch it all the time. She walks around the house saying "I want Oz" over and over again. Kenzi pulled out this movie about two weeks ago and I am amazed that tyla liked it (I think the movie is kinda scary). Tonight when we were getting ready for bed she insisted on sleeping with the DVD case and she always says in her prayers who she is thankful for and tonight there was one added to the list...OZ!! She has not let go of the case since she has been asleep...so cute! I just love her!
I put Tyla down for a nap after a exhausting cranky morning with her and after checking on her this is what I found.... Pink marker everywhere (couldn't take pics of the rest of the room. way too painfull) Jeff decided to power wash the house today and I asked him "that won't hurt my flowers I planted last night will it?" I go outside to find nothing but white paint chips covered in my flower beds and half our paint missing from our home!(this picture was taken after I cleaned up most the paint chips). OK, so when is the house getting painted??
I just wanted to let you all know that we are having a BOY!!! We got our wish! We couldn't be more excited especially Jeff, he was like a little kid in a candy shop! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. We both wanted a Boy so bad now if we could just agree on a name! :)
Thursday night I got to have a girls night with my Mom with no kids! I was invited back to Dillard's at San Tan Mall for their big once a year drawing where last year I won the coach purse. This year I won my all time favorite makeup ever MAC!! That's right I won the basket full of great MAC Makeup! It even had pretty red lipstick and lip gloss. I have been wanting to purchase some red lipstick for awhile now and I wore it tonight on our date night and Jeff told me he really likes me in my red lipstick (he's so sweet). It's amazing how a little bit of new makeup can make you feel like a new women. I love it! Yeah for me, new free makeup and a date with my cute hubby! We also got to go to a Forever Green Oil class that night that I will post about later.
I am so proud of our little star. Kenzi had two performances this weekend with her Dance Explosion Team. They did awesome!

I have been thinking for awhile now that I should let everyone know how much I love my sweet husband and I was looking at my calendar today and realized it was 6 months from today that we were married so I thought today was a great day to brag about how great my hubby is. Jeff is the best Dad ever. He is so involved in MacKenzie's school class he is there for every party and to help in the classroom every month. He is also in the PTO at their school. He is so supportive for Tyla's treatments and diet. He does all the special cooking for her and for the whole family. He is so loyal to me and protective. He always tries to plan date nights for us and he always offers to watch the girls and tells me to go get a pedicure because he knows how much I love to do that. It seems like we have been married way longer then just six months so much has happened in such a short amount time. I was pregnant two months after we got married then not long after Tyla was diagnosed with autism and our life has just been crazy ever since. I couldn't think of a better person to live my crazy life with. Babe you are my best friend and I love you so much and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me because you have given me the family I have always wanted and much more.
We do this bike tour twice a year and what we do is we have a theme of what to dress up as (this year was villains)and we ride our bikes around in costume. It is pretty funny to see us! We all have to pay to be in this tour and we try to raise money for a certain charity. Last year it was for Autism and this years proceeds went to a close couple of our group who the husband has Cystic Fibrosis and is going on a waiting list for a lung transplant. He is very ill and they have twin girls who are two years old. We had a good time. It was an all day event and I was VERY HAPPY to go home after! I was Darly Hanna in Kill Bill (I have never seen this movie and plan to keep it that way). Jeff was some Fat guy from Austin Powers! I decided to change into something more comfortable then hills and a dress for our bike ride. Jeff was already freakin out about me riding my bike while I am prego. Tom and Stacy dressed up as Wildcat fans. (Jeff didn't think it was funny because he is a big Wildcats fan. I loved it. Go Devils) Mike Myers in Halloween (Terry) Mr Burns (Brandon)
