2nd Grade

MacKenzie had an awesome school year! She is smart, bubbly and so fun to be around! She made more great friends, got straight A's all year and got 100% on most all of her AR Test! I couldn't be more proud of her! Her teacher suggested that MacKenzie test for ELP next year so we will find out this summer how she did. I don't really care eathier way I want her to be a little more challenged, but I don't want her to get discouraged if it is too hard. Ms Stockfisch was such a great teacher and I am so happy Dr Finley put Kenzi in her class now we just need him to put her Mrs Ryland next year! It was fun working in Kenzi's class this year and watching her interact with her classmates. I can't believe she is going to be in 3rd grade it is kinda freakin me out how fast our kids grow up! MacKenzie is the girl in the class that everyone wants to be friends with she has such a caring and fun energy about her. She got invited to two boys birthday parties this year and she was the only girl that got invited to both of them, at first I really didn't know how I felt about it and then Mrs Stockfisch called me one day and told me that she thought it was such an honor that Kenzi got invited and that all the kids in her class just want to be her best friend. It was such a good feeling to get a call from your child's teacher to just say how great your child is and how well she is doing. I love this spunky girl so much and I couldn't be more proud of how hard she worked this year!
Kenzi and her cute
bff Sassy! They are inseparable and perfect for each other!

We went to Kenzi's 2nd Grade performance yesterday "It's a jungle out there" It was so cute and man Kenzi had some moves up there on stage!

Tyla has been listening to Kenzi practice her songs all week for her play and she asked if she could go to Sissy's school to watch so I picked her up from school early so could watch. She looks up to her Sissy so much and wants to be like her. She is so funny because every time Sassy comes over to play with Kenzi Tyla always says "Sassy is MY best friend" So cute!

Kindergarten

My heart is full as I reflect on this school year for my sweet Tyla. Dang! It has been a roller coaster! I am so proud of her I could cry (I am as I am typing) Tyla has had such a great year and I couldn't be more happy! She has learned so much and her personality has grown, and even better she is now finally potty trained fully which I think is the biggest accomplishment ever! The doctors and I really didn't know if that day would ever happen (very common in Autistic Children) I seriously felt like I should throw a huge extravagant party for this milestone, but instead I just thank God everyday what might seem to some peope minor but a major blessing for our family! Can I just add how freakin cute her little booty looks in all her clothes! She is so freakin cute!

It was a great year and Tyla made such great friends especially her best buddy Gabriel! The sad thing about having a special needs child is that they are shifted to different schools which means being readjusted to new teacher, making new friends and the list goes on! I pray everything will be great next year at Field Elementary and that maybe jus maybe some day she can be in a regular school class.
This was such a stepping stone for Tyla to actually go into the petting zoo and brush the animals hair! I was one proud Mama! Oh...the small things that make me so happy!
Tyla with her best bud Gabriel!
Tyla insisted on having a Zebra for her carousel ride! It was such a fun day!
The year ends with the all the Kindergartners performing "These are the letters of the alphabet" show. It was awesome and Tyla looked so dang cute and I was sooo proud of how she knew all her letters and sounds and all the words to every song! I sneaked up to the front to snap some shots and in the middle of the play Tyla yelled "hi Mom!!!" "That's my Mommy" and everyone turned and looked at me! It was so cute! I am so proud of her!

Walking

My 13 month old is finally walking! I seriously thought since he started crawling at 6 months old that he would have been walking a long time ago but I guess not. It is so funny to see him walk, he looks too little to already be walking but it is so cute!

2 years.....

Here we are just moments after saying "I do" walking up the aisle as husband and wife. That was seriously one of the best moments of my life!

It has been a crazy, exciting, emotional, fun and bumpy roller coaster these past two years and I am so blessed to be on this journey with my best friend and love of my life.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Mothers Day!
