We got to go to a Cubs game this weekend! We went with some friends and all our kids. It was fun and very hot! We love baseball! Tyla was so excited to go to the game she kept saying "ball game" and "go cubs" all day and she was so excited for her and sissy to wear their cub shirts!
The girls brought their mits to catch a ball or to to use to block the sun!
Oh and we finally agreed on our little Boys name....Ryker it is! Now that we agreed...anytime is fine Ryker we are ready...well I am! I finally found the perfect place for this adorable vintage frame I got at the last vintage junque fair and also found some use for my scrapbook paper I have had for years.

Spring Break

I took the day off of work today to spend time with my family since the girls are on spring break. We first woke up to MacKenzie making everyone breakfast then we took Tyla to OT and off to the zoo we went! I love our zoo pass it is so worth it, we can pack a lunch go for a couple hours and then go home and take a nap! It was so nice to have the day off I felt like I had quality time with the girls and then was able to get so much done around the house and sit down and breath for a minute. I usually take the girls by myself, but Jeff was able to sneak away from work today and go with us and I am so thankful he did, the girls Love him so much and he helped me out so much, I can't believe how tired I was and short of breath I felt!! It was a great day and I am really sad I have to go back to work tomorrow :(

While the girls were resting I worked on the baby room a little so here is a sneak peak...

I ran across this Babe Ruth picture in the garage. This picture means so much to Jeff and he has told me a long while back that he would really like this picture to be hung in the house and I just never wanted it anywhere and forgot about it until this week when I was trying to decide what to do with the baby room and it hit me that this would be perfect in our little boys room(BTW he still doesn't have a name)so I decided to surprise Jeff with it. I also found this shelf in my garage so I thought it would work great and the cute blanket hanging from the shelf was made for me from my dear friend Kristen. My Dad told me he has a really old style baseball glove so I am going to replace the one that is on the shelf with that when he finds it. As for the Rocker this was bought for me from my mother in law Kathy and I absolutely love it! It is chocolate brown microfiber and the adorable quilt on it was made with lots of love from my Mom. Stay tune for more of the baby room. I can't believe I only have a few weeks left! I can't wait to see this precious baby and hold him. It has been so long since I have had a little baby! I am so excited and can't!

Environmentally Friendly

These wipes can be found at Walmart my friends! Organic baby wipes 100% biodegradable, naturally derived fibers so they are gentle and soft against baby's skin. They come in resealable packs that use 80% less packaging then conventional baby wipe tubs.
So I really wanted a coach diaper bag, but it doesn't look like I will be stepping foot in a coach store anytime soon! Turns out I found something even better for a fraction of the price I would have paid for my coach bag. This is my Fleurville diaper bag that comes with these slip knot stroller attachments which are going to be very handy. It has two huge pockets on the sides and tons of pockets and space on the inside. My favorite part about this bag (besides how freakin cute it is)is that it is environmentally friendly and is free of PVC. Many other diaper bag manufactures use PVC because it is cheap. PVC contains polyvinyl chloride it contains chloride molecules with toxic metals such as lead and cadmium. PVC is very toxic! Anyway this diaper bag is plastic all around and it will be very easy to clean and I can sit it on the floor and not have to worry about how hard it will be to clean. I would much rather have this than my coach bag!

BTW I didn't order this on fleurville's site. I actually ordered it at ebags.com and it was on sale already and then I got an extra 20% off for being a first time customer with them. They have tons of cute designs it was a hard decision on which one to get. There was a super cute PINK one! :)

Rocking Chair

If anyone knows of a good place to get an affordable, cute comfy rocker or glider please let me know or if you know of someone who is trying to sale theirs. I have been looking for months and am having no luck. I'm not going to lie I am pretty picky!! It needs to be extremely comfortable and has to be able to go with Brown and baby blue. I would love a floral one or possibly khaki and I don't want to spend $600 on one!!! I am not asking too much am I??? Thanks! :)

Go Cubs!!!

I love when the Cubs are here for spring training it is one of my favorite times of the year! The weather is awesome and it is all about baseball around our home! We took the girls to the game this weekend and it was so much fun! By the time we left my girls looked like rug rats, but I didn't care they had so much fun and that's all that matters! This was a much needed family time. Tyla was all about baseball and was so good the entire time. Jeff kept saying how excited he was that Tyla loved baseball so much. She woke up this morning and said "baseball game Mommy" It was really cute.

Tyla was all about hangin with Jeff and was so happy to to be at a baseball game.
Tyla thought she was so cool with her cubs hat. She even had to put it on backwards and Jeff kept telling me to take pictures of her because she looked so cute and was all about baseball. This made Jeff really happy! :)

My Super Star

MacKenzie's dance explosion team was in the ostrich festival parade today and as we were sitting there waiting for the parade to start I was sitting next to one of the dancers mom and her sister called and said they were on news channel 3 and that they keep showing this really cute blonde girl. Later when we finally got home my Mom called and said she saw Kenzie on TV and that they kept showing her over and over again! That's my girl always in the spotlight!! Good job Kenz we are proud of you and Tyla is too she kept saying "there's my sissy!!!" "sissy's pretty" It was so cute and Tyla was so good for the entire parade!
