ZOO!

The girls were out of school last Monday and Kenzi was with her cousin Katelyn and my Mom offered to watch Ryker so I can take Tyla to the zoo (Ryker has had some breathing problems so we try to keep him in as much as possible.) We invited Tyla's BFF Jordynn to tag along. It was so much fun to spend time with Tyla and watch her interact with her friend and have so much fun! I never knew if this day would come where Tyla would communicate and socialize with her friends and be socially accepted and I am so thankful how much she has matured and just bloomed this school year. It was a fun day and the weather was perfect!

A few weeks ago I had a girls night out with some friends and on our way home we were talking about our kids as Moms usually do and my friend started to tell me about this blog she ran across about a Mom just like us who was taking care of her kids on a typical Saturday morning one child covered in cereal , the others playing, and one laying in bed who was super sick.

Anyway the story goes on about how the Mom started the bath for the baby covered in cereal and then she went to take care of her sick child and noticed his room a mess and started cleaning it and the next she knows her baby boy has drowned in the tub.

I am over in the passenger seat filled with tears saying I don't want to hear this I can't handle it. I also said how that could have happened to me many of times.

I went home and all I could think about in bed that night was this poor Mom and what she has to be going through with her family. I prayed for that family that night and have continued to do so. I think prayer is a powerful thing.

A few days later I called my friend and asked for the blog because I can't stop thinking about Bronson and I just had to know how he was doing. I saw this picture of him and again lost it.


The reason I am sharing this with you is because I know this could have happened to any of us Mom's and it has made me think twice when I am complaining about my crazy life or my crazy kids that I am so blessed to have them on this earth with me and I just want to stop cleaning and doing laundry and just have fun with them.
I am so grateful for my adorable healthy kids. I love them so much!

Friday Fun Day!!!

Everyday the kids come home from school and the first words out of their mouths are "can I have a snack please?" My response is sure, would you like an apple, banana, grapes or carrot sticks? No, we want cookies, donuts, ice cream or candy! I have to be the boring mean Mom that says NO!!!

I decided to start a little tradition to give the kids something to look forward to. I told Kenzi that every Friday she can have her friends come over after school and I will have a yummy treat for everyone. Deal! I am not promising anything extravagant, but it will be Sugar!

I made cinnamon rolls this past Friday and everyone loved them and they were gone in a matter of seconds!

I am taking more time to embrace my kids, let the chores wait and just have fun and of course snap a few pictures!

Today was early release which is always exciting for us because that means Tyla actually gets to play longer before therapies begin!

I just have to brag about how awesome my husband did putting together this years PTO School Auction. It was a great success and we raised a very respectable amount for the school this year.

Babe- Thank you for wearing so many hats to keep me at home with the kids. I know I complain about you always being gone (not saying I am going to stop)but I understand why and I am grateful for all you do for us and all the fun things we get to do together as a family.

L-O-V-E!!!

Friday morning the girls both woke up so early (you would think it was Christmas.) They wanted to get in the bath and get dressed for school. Kenzi kept asking me if I sent her a valentine gram at school (thank goodness I did!!!) and Tyla kept saying she was so excited for her birthday party at school (AKA...Valentines Party) She doesn't really understand what the heck Valentine's is, but that's OK.....maybe next year. Since they were ready for school by 6:30 I decided to snap a few pictures (not me....haha!!!)Sisters are awesome! The bond these girls have is so strong and Tyla looks up to her Sissy so much and wants to just like her and wants to play with all her friends!!! I love My Pretty Princesses!

It is now Valentine's Day Sunday!!! I wanted the kids to look all valentinish at church and I think Kenzi looked so pretty in pink! ( I wanted to buy Tyla the same dress but she is always with her Dads on Sunday's which is always a bummer for us because everyone at church misses out on seeing her)
Here is Ryker in a cute black and silver tie. (please excuse his snot nose) He looked so cute. I searched EVERYWHERE for a pink shirt or pink tie and there was none in his size. The smallest they had was a 2t which was way too big for him, but he looked handsome anyway!
In addition to my new hand bag I have been eying for some time and received this weekend from husband....well actually he just gave me cash and told me to go buy it and he will watch the kids....umm.....OK!!!! Score!
I came home from church and found these beautiful white roses with a touch of PINK. I love them!

I will talk about why and how much I LOVE my Hubby on my next post.....there is just so much that it will have to wait til next time!

Happy 10 Months Handsome!!!

Who says Boys aren't as fun as girls?? I am having more fun dressing this little guy than I do with my girls (no lie)He is one stylin man!







Ryker is walking around everything, but not on his own yet. Since he started crawling right before 6 months I seriously thought he would already be walking, but not yet! Which is OK I just HATE the crawling stage! He is now putting everything in his mouth and I am constantly vacuuming and following the girls around making sure they don't leave their little barbie shoes out for Ryker to choke on! It freaks me out!

Here are Rykers words he can say:

Dada (all the time even when Jeff isn't home)

Hi

He likes to wave bye bye when people leave...it is so freakin cute!

His favorite toys are anything with wheels! He loves little race cars, he is obsessed with this cool fire truck at the gym, and he even likes the girls hot pink Barbie car (sorry Jeff!)

All I can say is that I love this little man so so much! He brings so much joy to my life on a daily basis. He is the happiest and healthiest baby ever!

Obsessed!!!!

Those of you who know me, know that I am obsessed with jewelry or anything girlie!

Friday night I went with my friends and we took our girls and made some super cute jewelry. I took alot of my own charms and then just added the beads. Super Cute! It was so fun and I can't wait to make more! I am even more addicted!

Last weekend....Crazy Busy!

This weekend has been great so far. No plans and just winging it! Right now Kenzi has a couple friends over and they are playing away and Ryker is taking a nap! Yay for me!!!

Last weekend we had a fun, but crazy weekend.

Sassy spent the night because she wanted to get up bright and early Saturday (5:30 am)to go watch Kenzi at her cheer Competition at Cricket Pavilion. We had to be there and ready by 7:30 am (shoot me)

Friday night we took the girls to Dave and Busters and it was so fun! Well for us girls it was...not sure about Jeff and Ryker!

Saturday went to Cheer and then to our cute friend Brody's Snow Birthday Party! Jeff didn't go to the competition because he went and helped get snow for the party. I think he was happy he had an excuse not to go, it is a super long day with a bunch of screaming girls!

They chose to get these huge lollipops with their tickets! Those are some expensive suckers!!!

The other night the girls (MacKenzie and Sassy that is) were watching icarly (new favorite show) and Carly's brother Spencer made Spaghetti Tacos!

Jeff being the wonderful guy he is promised to make them for dinner sometime.

So tonight he decided to do just that

Tyla wanted me to take a picture of her eating her turkey burger....there is that smile I LOVE I can assure you Tyla that you were not missing out on much. I would go for the burger over the taco!

After dinner I went in Kenzi's room and snapped this real quick
I asked what they were doing and they said "we are Princesses getting ready to go on a trip"

Ok then.

Oh, Jeff's new name is Spencer according to the girls....stay tuned for what he will have to make next.....I can only imagine! (I love you Babe)

On another note
I have been stressed. Stressed about this adorable angel who has the prettiest smile I have ever seen in my life.

Lately I have been asking the "why" question. This is never good news when I start asking.

Why do I have to fight this girl every morning at 4:00am?

Why do you have to fight me to do every task?

Why do you purposely hurt Baby Ryker?

Why do I have to walk on eggshells around you?

Why do I have to have therapists in my house everyday?

OK, you get the point....
