The Camel Ride

The other day I took the kiddos to the zoo. They loved it.
As we were walking my sweet Tyla (who is afraid of 5 pound puppies)saw the camels and turned to me and said Mommy can I please ride the camel? I just laughed and said maybe next time. She was very persistent so I said OK. I had butterflies in my stomach and a small ounce of hope. I knew in my head as we got closer to the camel that she would get scared and not go through with it.

I was wrong....

Here she is waiving to the entire world! She was glowing.

This made my day.

The small things in life always seem so big to me.

"freeze"

I love that Tyla has a best friend (Jordynn) I hate that she never gets that much time with her because she has therapy ever day.

Over christmas Break Tyla got to spend some one on one time with her BFF Jordynn. It was magical (to me) watching how great they are for eachother. They were like salt and pepper.

I couldn't help but think about where they both would be in a few years.

Will they still be friends? Will Jordynn realize Tyla is a little different?

As a Mom I am scared.

I really wish I could "FREEZE" time right now.

Welcome 2011....SIMPLIFY

I Love beginning a new year! It is a time to set goals and try to better myself. I love the feeling of a fresh start.

I decided to share all my goals with you so I am held more accountable to achieve them!

#1 - Run 1/2 Marathon
#2) - Work on all 3 kids Individual needs ( I wrote examples down and posted by my computer to remind me)
#3) - ME! Might sound weird, but when Jeff and I first got married I worked a 8 to 5 full time job up until I had Ryker. I thought it was the hardest thing ever, now being a stay at home Mom. My feelings have slightly changed, I need to find a balance between being a Mom and Wife. I need some alone time and some adult conversation PLEASE!
#4)Build my XOCAI Business. I never thought by eating Healthy Chocolate that it would make me this happy, healthy and bring in an income.
#5)Make my house a HOME. I honestly love my house and could see us living here for a long time, maybe forever. It just needs a little work. I plan to to do TONS of fun projects this year to make it warm, cute and simple.

Last, My "ONE WORD" for this year...SIMPLIFY

I want to do some things this year to make it easier and simple for my family and myself. By doing this I think I can save time, energy and be a little more layed back.

To keep me on track I will be posting examples throughout the year.

With that being said here is a sneak peak of my first "home" project

SIMPLIFY my Pantry/Laundry Room

I was kinda embarressed to even show these pictures but ohwell

Wish me luck!

New Years Eve

The past two years I have spent New Years Eve alone with my Hubby. It is always so much fun!

I love my alone time with my hubs.

Next year I am thinking something different though.

Goodbye 2010!
XOXO
