Happy Halloween!!!

This was a great Halloween for us. The girls cousins and friends came to our house and then we all went trick or treating together. This is the first year that Tyla was actually dressed up and went door to door. She was great for most of it except for the times she saw scary masks! Not Good! Kenzi was Hannah Montana! Shocker! Tyla was a High School Musical Cheerleader. We had a blast! We all came home and the kids passed out candy. The kids had so much fun that they didn't even eat any candy. I love that!

Tyla approved...FINALLY!!!

OK, I am totally supposed to be working right now, but I just received a phone call that I have been waiting for for months now. Tyla is approved for DDD which means they will provide the funds for all her services such as, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Music Therapy!! I can't even express how excited I am. This has been an ongoing process and Tyla's services have been on hold because we had to get this approval first. YEAH!!! I think we might have to celebrate tonight.

Tagged AGAIN!!!

I am so popular!! My dear friend Mandi tagged me.

7 random facts about ME....

1)I am obsessed with Autism. This is all I think about and I am eager to learn more and more about it.

2)I love my Heavenly Father. We have become best friends, we talk to each other everyday and he has guided me to the road to recovery for Tyla and he watches out for her. I know it. I also love my Heavenly Father because he is forgiving and has forgiven me many times.

3)I was invited to go on a trip to the Bahama's with my husband and his sweet sweet cousins in March. We were going to stay at Atlantis. Then we found out I was pregnant a month later and my due date is a few weeks after that trip so I should probably stay home.:( Can you believe it?? The Bahamas! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

4)I want a baby Boy so bad!

5)I want to go on a cruise for my 30TH Birthday with a bunch of "couple friends". Jeff has already agreed to do that for me. He probably thought I would forget about it by then, but I won't :)(get ready Ted and Sara - your coming!)

6)We are going to DISNEYLAND for Christmas this year! For Five days! Before, on and after Christmas! We are in need of family time alone and we can't wait! The girls are so excited!

7)I so desperately want to be a stay at home Mom. More now then ever. I am having such a hard time juggling work, kids, appointments, dance, pregnancy, tyla's diet and yada yada yada. I HATE depending on my parents for all their help with my kids. It is killing me! Tyla needs me and I have so much I want to do, learn, research etc.... Yes this is my own pity party. Pretty pathetic I know! There is not enough hours in the day.

I tag Becky and Alex. Chop! Chop!

Tagged!!!

I was tagged by Sara and I had to go to the fourth folder on my computer and pick the fourth picture in that folder. I found this picture of Kenzi and I in Hawaii. I am so glad it was a Hawaii picture because this brought back such a great memory to me, even tears... We went to Hawaii in May 2007 for Jeff's Dad's 60TH Birthday. We had so much fun as a family and I will never forget this memorable trip. Almost a year later Jeff's Dad had a massive heart attack and we didn't know if he was going to pull through and we are now so blessed as a family to see Randy alive and well.
When I found this picture I remembered I did a slide show of our trip to Hawaii so here it is.

Busy FUN Weekend

The girls played so good together this weekend. Tyla followed Kenzi everywhere! Saturday we went to the zoo for the "walk for Autism" event. We had a great time! They are having another walk for autism next month that we hopefully will make it too. We went and picked out pumpkins and went home and decorated them. Tyla picked a baby pumpkin that she kept carrying around the house all day. She was so cute.We ended our weekend at the mall. We went there to take one of Kenzi's animals back that had a defect and when I was talking to the manager Tyla went and picked a zebra and had the girl that was working there start stuffing it!! Oh it was too funny! What a smart little cookie. She knows what she wants! The girls also played for hours outside riding bikes, jumping and swinging. I love the sound of my kids playing and laughing together. It is the best sound in the world. I also had a chance to experiment with baking some Gluten/ Caesin Free items. They all turned out great except the bread. It was terrible! Well it was a very long and active weekend and I am so tired.

Going Organic

It has been just over two weeks that we started Tyla on her diet (Organic, Gluten & Caisen Free)and I am amazed of the drastic changes in her in such a short amount of time. After alot of thought and research I have decided that I would like the whole family to eat more Organic foods along with daily vitamins, supplements and ofcourse Mona Vie shots! It has actually been really fun to cook these special meals for my special Tyla and I have never been anything close to a good cook, but for some reason I am good at cooking these healthy meals for Tyla. It must be because I have so much passion in my cooking to make these meals for my pretty princess.Kenzie took this picture this morning I was still very sleepy and ofcourse Tyla was wide awake!

A day with Roo

We love our Kenzi Roo so much. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She is my best friend and I love when I get her all to myself. We always carry on great conversations and she is the most considerate little girl I have ever met. She always asks me how work is going and how I am feeling with the baby in my tummy. She helps around the house and helps her little sister all the time. This weekend we got to go shopping together to get some warmer clothes for school. We had a great time together. Then we went home made lunch and we all went to the park for a picnic and enjoyed the nice weather. When we were walking home we saw a beautiful butterfly that Roo had to take a picture of. It was such a great weekend and we couldn't ask for better weather. I opened our windows and doors and snuggled up with a blanket and book and read a lot this weekend. I love it!

Schneph Farms

Every year it is family tradition to go to Schneph Farms. It seems to get a lot more fun each year. I think because the kids are getting older and able to do more and appreciate the fun. Kenzi and her cousin Matti went off and did all the rides and corn maze with my brother Brady and then Kenzi spent the night at their house.Myself, Jeff and Milea took Tyla and her cousin Tanner to the bee and airplane ride. We also had to ride the horses on the carousel. We ended the night with the spooky train ride. Kenzi and Matti were scared and held on to each other most of the ride and surprisingly Tyla wasn't scared at all!! There was even a spooky man who jumped out of the bushes at her and she thought it was hilarious. I was totally shocked seeing how Tyla is very scared of sounds and the dark. It was a great night!
