Pats Run

My friend Angela invited me to do the Pat Tillman Run a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun! Can't wait to do it next year!
I ran 4.2 miles.

Birthday Celebration!

My friend Kami and I have a crazy friendship. Obviously we are great friends because all our kids are so close, but I have not seen Kami for IDK a month now I would say, but anyway Kami was thrilled to find out that I didn't go to Cali and could make it to her birthday party! She had a party bus pick us up at our house and we all went to eat dinner at Matta's (imagine that) and then headed off to The Big Bang in Tempe! It was so much fun! I didn't plan to stay there until 2am because I really was looking forward to running the Pat's Run the following morning, but it was totally worth it! I had a great time! The Girls!

Last Thursday I was supposed to be in Cali running Ragnar with a group of girls, but I ended up "bailing out" last minute. I was lacking confidence and was beyond stress about leaving Jeff home with the kids and I was terrified of flying! I know I sound crazy, but really that is how I felt.

For the past two weeks I have been trying to get Tyla into a behavioral specialist or someone who could help Tyla and my family with our situation that is taking place right now and all these people are booked wayyyyyy out! I am talking like 6 months and more! There is no way I can wait this long! Luckily I got a phone call from Dr. Kingsley's office and they said they had a cancellation Thursday and could see Tyla! Score! That was the day I was supposed to go to cali, but that sealed the deal for me to stay home.

After a long session Dr. Kinglsey looks at me and says " I think Tyla might have some very strong OCD issues". I really was floored. He made me give him examples of how and when Tyla has meltdowns and it really made alot of sense to me how it could be a compulsive disorder. The more I think of it she really does do things that remind me of OCD more then ADHD.

So needless to say I have yet another thing to look into and research! I left the office feeling very good and loving Dr. Kingsley here in Mesa. He doesn't think therapy with him will help Tyla because of this disorder, but he does think he could help me deal with these problems we are having with Tyla and could also help MacKenzie cope and understand as well.

Ryker's Birthday Party!!!

Today we celebrated Ryker's birthday! Yesterday he turned two, but he was nice enough to share his special day with his Sissy who had her last cheer competition of the season.
We had a small easy and very layed back party with just our little family. My Sister n law Milea and the kids came (sorry to my brother Brady who was working) Jeff's sister Jen and her two girls Katelyn and Annalyse came and my parents (Nana and Papa) and Jeff's parents (Yaya and Papa) were also there.
The original plan was to have the party at the railroad park and do a Thomas the Train theme but because of the rain we decided to be safe and have it at home. Jeff was happy about this because of the Masters. Gotta love Golf! It turned out to be a great day with no rain and beautiful weather! I can't believe my baby is two!

End of Season

Saturday was Kenzi's last competition of the season and it was also Ryker's 2ND birthday! We got up early to get ready and head out to cheer Kenzi on! She did awesome! I can't believe how much Kenzi has improved this year! She is so strong, sturdy, reliable, smiles like crazy and brings her "A" game on!

Raining!!!

I was at the store yesterday and passed this cheap little water slide with a play pool at the end and decided since Ryker doesn't really know how to swim yet this would be fun for him and his little friends. The kids LOVED it and and every time Ryker got splashed he kept saying "Mommy it's raining!!" When Kenzi and her friends got home from school and saw us playing in the water they all got swimsuits on and joined the fun too! My front yard was packed with kids from ages 1 to 12. It was funny watching all the cars driving by starring at us. It was so fun and something new for the kids to do and us Mama's work on our tans!

Ryker has been pointing to the front door all day pulling his pants off and saying "lets go raining Mommy"
